Deconstructing the History of Cartography

The assignment for this paper was to report on a set of readings we were to find on the topic of the history of cartography. Professor Smith suggested writing it in the form of a letter, albeit with proper footnotes.

The Role of Cost-Benefit Analysis in Government Regulations

This research report draws on the experience of its 5 authors in benefit-cost analysis for government rule-making. We summarize many of the methods used in benefit estimation and follow several case studies in how they contributed, or didn't, to the regulatory decision-making. I coordinated the project and edited the many drafts. My main writing roles was in the theoretical and methods sections.
